Social Commerce = Faster Sales

A new trend has emerged called social commerce which presents a shortened customer shopping experience at less than a click away. In 2020 Facebook and Instagram introduced a creative spin to the customer purchasing journey, moving social media beyond its traditional role in the discovery process by encouraging users to complete the entire purchase process without leaving their preferred app (Facebook/Instagram).

COVID has expanded social commerce and encouraged people to connect with a business through two-way communication, without even leaving their home. This allows customers to not only engage with your business but gives them the opportunity to use social media as an efficient customer service channel where it is possible to solve problems.

The added benefit of social commerce also impacts your business when customers are satisfied, social media makes it easy to share and recommend your brand and vice versa. These channels will play a very important role in your word-of-mouth marketing, increasing sales to drive traffic to increasing customer engagement and website traffic which eventually influences your ranking on search engine results.

Social commerce is also easy to measure and evaluate performance and ROI tracking.
