#teamtrees is a campaign started by famous YouTuber MrBeast after he hit 20 million subscribers. The message of the campaign is "20 million dollars to plant 20 million trees by 2020", and has gained the attention of a swathe of online influencers, CEOs, video game companies and others.
There are many, many things that make this campaign special. Even the idea that a tree can be planted for as little as 1 dollar is quite incredible. The way MrBeast has united people of influence all over the world to make a significant positive difference to the environment is a testament to his influence and creativity, and the way it has been circulated around the internet through fun YouTube videos, witty tweets and many other channels is simply fantastic.
