From Hoodies to Help: How Affiliate Marketing Can Make A Real Difference

Affiliate Marketing Drives Real-World Impact and Support

Bunnings Warehouse has partnered once again with mental health charity TIACS and social impact workwear brand TradeMutt to release a limited-edition hoodie aimed at funding free counselling services for tradies and other blue-collar workers.

Launched on July 25, the hoodies were sold at Trade Desks in Bunnings stores across the country, with 100 percent of profits going directly to TIACS - a mental health support service offering free, professional counselling with no waitlists.

The initiative is not just a fundraiser - it’s also a standout example of purpose-driven affiliate marketing, bringing together three brands aligned by mission, audience, and impact.

This marks the second time the three organisations have collaborated, following last year’s campaign that raised an impressive $693,869 for TIACS. The continued success highlights how strategic brand alliances can not only boost business sales but also create meaningful customer engagement.

The hoodies, designed by TradeMutt - a label known for its bold designs and mental health advocacy - offer customers a way to contribute to a cause while proudly wearing their support.

The launch campaign also included selected Bunnings stores hosting local Trade BBQs July, offering customers a chance to purchase the hoodies in person and connect with the cause directly.

By joining forces, Bunnings, TradeMutt, and TIACS have shown how affiliate marketing can extend far beyond product promotion. Together, they’re driving brand visibility, social responsibility, and real-world impact; setting a new benchmark for collaboration between retail, fashion, and mental health services. WIN, WIN, WIN!
