It's no secret that Aussies love a Big Mac. With this in mind, on the 31st of October, McDonald's Australia projected a really Big Mac onto the side of the Westfield Sydney Tower to launch their '30 Days, 30 Deals' promotion this month, beginning with $2 Big Macs that started the campaign off on November 1.

"The Westfield Sydney tower is the perfect shape for a Big Mac, and obviously it wouldn't work on something like the Opera House" - Jo Feeney, marketing director at McDonald's Australia

This isn't the first time an iconic building in Sydney has been used as an advertising billboard. Last month, The Everest horse race projected jockeys' colours onto the Sydney Opera House.

McDonald's '30 Days, 30 Deals' campaign included pushing a new video on social media to announce the special deal each day. These deals are only available through the mymcacca's app and until the end of November.

We can only assume this campaign will allow McDonald's Australia to measure popularity of food types and will reinforce to the consumers the habit of choosing McDonald's as one of their food choices.

Looking to create a clever campaign that you can measure,
whilst at the same influence your consumers behaviour?
We'll help you do just that.
